Rii is back to small screen with Khonar Bochon

Rii is back to small screen after a hiatus of eight years. She is playing a negative character in the serial Khonar Bochon. “I play Jayatri who is a stepmom to Khona. I played a character in Joy Kali Kolkattawali but this is my comeback to serials in a big way,” said the actress. Does she love to play negative characters, we ask her. “To me, a character’s importance in the narrative matters.Whether it has positive or negative shades is secondary,” said Rii, who just completed shooting for Rajarshi Dey’s film Subho Noboborsho.
