Priyanka Bhattacharjee teams up with Rohaan Bhattacharjee again

Actor Rohaan Bhattacharjee has a brand new project in his kitty. The actor, who became a household name following the success of ‘Bhojo Gobindo’, is more active on OTT platforms and silver screen. After doing Bengali web series like ‘Hostel Days’, ‘Jaatiswar’, Rohaan also completed the shooting of a Hindi project which will feature him with versatile artist Makarand Pandey.Meanwhile, his movie which has none other than Dev, is also gearing up for its premiere. The busy bee has now bagged yet another project. He is currently busy with the shooting of this OTT project, directed by Souvik Dey. Interestingly, the web series will also feature actress Priyanka Bhattacharjee. This isn’t their first project together. The duo had worked together in a television show earlier.
Daily soap ‘Aparajita Apu’, which introduced model-turned-actress Susmita Dey to Bengali audience, featured Rohaan playing the male protagonist. The show was quite popular among the audience too. While Rohan and Susmita essayed the lead pair, Priyanka appeared on the show for a limited time. She played a negative character in the show.
Now, the actors are yet again teaming up for a project.
The upcoming web series is a thriller. Rohaan, Priyanka along with the other team members are currently shooting for this project. Both the actors are popular among the audience. Rohaan is known for his perfect comic timing and also played romantic hero. Priyanka, on the other hand, has played both girl next door and femme fatale. But the new Bengali thriller series will feature them in a completely different avatar.
While Rohaan has worked in a Hindi project, Priyanka too has worked in Bollywood. Her debut Hindi film has none other than actor Vinay Pathak, who plays her dad in the movie. The actress has also forayed in South Indian entertainment industry.
