Chatushkone to Bonku Babu: Popular movies to entertain Bengali audience this weekend

Bengali movies of different genres are set to entertain the audience this week. From comedy-drama ‘Bonku Babu’, romantic flick ‘Modgur Milan’ to Srijit Mukherji’s thriller ‘Chatushkone’, many interesting films will be aired by a leading Bengali TV channel this weekend.
Saswata Chatterjee’s comedy movie ‘Bonku Babu’, which was released in 2014, will be aired this weekend.He played a 70-year-old man in this movie. Saswata, who recently left his mark yet again in Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi satarrer ‘Dil Bechara’, was praised for his performance in ‘Bonku Babu’. The film stars seasoned actor Rajatabha Dutta, along with Arunima Ghosh, Arjun Chakraborty and Rupa Bhattacharya.
Srijit Mukherji-directed ‘Chotushkone’ featuring a stellar cast that includes Aparna Sen, Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Goutam Ghose, Parambrata Chatterjee and Payel Sarkar, is set for its telecast. Apart from this, Ranjit Mallick and Mousumi Chatterjee starrer ‘Bidhilipi’, Ranjit Mallick, Sandya Roy, Prasenjit Chatterjee starrer ‘Chhoto Bou’ will also be aired. Prosenjit-Rituparna Sengupta’s hit movie ‘Modhur Milon’ and Prosenjit-Koel Mallick starrer ‘Badshah-The King’ are also going to be aired this weekend.
To celebrate Eid al-Adha, ‘Bhaijaan Elo Re’ will be aired this weekend. The movie stars Rajatabha Dutta, Shakib Khan, Srabanti Chatterjee, Payel Sarkar and many other actors.
