One of the finest actresses of the Bengali screen turns a year younger today. Sabitri Chatterjee, whose career spans 60 years, is among the rare gems of Bengali cinema who keeps an equally busy schedule now. The actress, who plays the matriarch of a family in megaserial Kusum Dola, has recently been signed up for a role in Jibon Khatar Proti Pataye with Soumitra Chatterjee.
Though she usually shoots from 11 am till 11 pm, the actress took a break on Wednesday. “No, I will not be shooting today. I chose to take a day off and be with my sister. It’s mostly family time,” said Chatterjee, who was recently honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at Jio Filmfare Awards (East) 2018. Here’s wishing the actress years and years of happiness ahead.
