Deepu Anthikad

After the Jayaram starrer family drama ‘Lucky Star’, the Mollywood director deepu anthikad is teaming up with the actors Biju Menon and Guru Somasundaram for his second directorial venture titled ‘Naalam Mura’. Recently the makers unveiled the title poster for the film which also has a text written ‘Biju Menon Vs Guru Somasundaram’ suggesting that both the actors will be locking horns in deepu anthikad’s sophomore directorial venture.

Actor Jayaram will next be seen in yet another family drama, directed by debutant deepu anthikad. Titled Lucky Star, the movie will see Jayaram and Mukesh in prominent roles.

Recently the makers unveiled the trailer for ‘Naalam Mura’ which promises an intense mind game thriller. Biju Menon will be playing a police character who is on a quest to solve a crime involving Guru Somasundaram’s character. The director deepu anthikad seems to be giving an emotional angle to Guru Somasundaram’s storyline as he is shown in the trailer having a lover/wife. Overall the trailer is impressive and the film promises an engaging thriller. Actress Divya Pillai will be playing the female lead character in the movie.

The music launch of an upcoming film by debutantes Niyaz and Razack was a low-key affair.

Actress Rachna had successfully pulled off a rib-tickling comedy role in deepu anthikad’s Jayaram-starrer, Lucky Star.

According to the reports, ‘Naalam Mura’ is mounted on a huge budget and is touted as a suspense drama and the story is set in the backdrop of high-range areas. The reports also suggest that the story treatment for ’Naalam Mura’ will be unique and entirely different from the usual patterns seen in most Malayalam movies.

The posters and teaser for ‘Nalam Mura’ look promising and the expectation levels are high as it seems that the makers are trying for a cat-and-mouse chase between the characters played by the actors Biju Menon and Guru Somasundaram.
