Noise has started rolling out a new update for its smart wearable -- Luna Ring-- to improve its functionality and usability. . Launched in July 2023, the Luna Ring initially boasted skin temperature sensors, a 3-axis accelerometer, and Infrared Photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors to facilitate health monitoring functions. However, with the latest update, the smart ring is getting new artificial intelligence (AI) features, including the company’s new AI coach called Luna AI.
Described as a "personalized all-time health companion" by Noise, the Luna Ring now offers AI-powered fitness tracking with actionable insights. Leveraging advanced algorithms and anonymised data from a user base of 20 million individuals, Luna AI also claims to deliver tailored suggestions based on individual sleep habits, health goals, activity levels, and sleep patterns. Additionally, insights from wellness experts have been incorporated into the AI framework, ensuring comprehensive guidance for users.
The update introduces three key highlights:
Ask Anything: Users can now receive personalised recommendations and answers to their queries from Luna AI, based on their fitness data.
Body Insights: Luna Ring provides deeper insights into the body's rhythms and signals, empowering wearers to optimize their health and receive personalized suggestions.
Personal Coach and Nutritionist: Luna AI customizes training routines according to fitness goals and offers nutrition recommendations using bio-markers.
