Meet winners of Hackwithinfy 2024

➤ The team of Ritesh Baindara, IIT Dhanbad, Jharkhand, Abhikant Kumar, Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Saurav Rawat, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Saroj Kowshik Garapati, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, won Infosys’ recently concluded HackWithInfy 2024, a nationwide annual coding marathon for engineering students, at its Pune Development Centre.
➤ The theme for this year was ‘AI for a better tomorrow’, and the winning team’s solution was around geospatial AI for flood risk management.
➤ Over the years, HackWithInfy has seen participation from over 10 lakh engineering students from more than 3,500 institutes. The grand finale this year saw the top 100 coders split into 20 teams, participate in a 40-hour hackathon which was judged by a jury comprising senior Infosys leadership.

➤ The winning team was awarded prize money of Rs 2 lakh, the first runner-up team received Rs 1 lakh, and the second runnerup team Rs 50,000.
➤ The first runners up team included Bandi Leela Ganga Shanmukha Prajna (Shri Vishnu Engg College for Women), Abhishek Pandey (Delhi Technological University), Aditya Garg (Graphic Era Hill University, Dun), Sanskar Jaiswal (IIT BHU), and Somdeep Misra (NIT Jamshedpur). The second runners up team included Aayush Gupta (Poornima Group of Engineering College), Virag Jain (IIIT Bhubaneswar), Khushi Jain (Jaypee University of Engineering Technology, Guna), Nishant Pundlik Gore (IIT BHU), and Siddhant Sudesh Chalke (IIIT Dharwad).
➤ Pavan Manish Devulapally of CVR College of Engineering, Telangana, was adjudged the best coder of the hackathon, and was recognised with the title ‘Champion of Champions’. He developed an AIpowered personalised learning solution.
