The incident happened at a town hall event in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Sunday, March 30, when his speech was disrupted by an audience member. Responding to the disruption, Elon Musk Smiled and said, "It was inevitable that at least a few Soros operatives would be in the audience. Elon Musk vs George Soros
George Soros is the Chairman of Soros Fund Management. Elon Musk on repeated occasions has said that Soros is behind the attacks on him and has been funding protests against Tesla cars and vandalization of the company's property across the United States. Musk has also criticised the former US President Joe Biden’s decision to award Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, calling it a "travesty."
Musk was interrupted by the protester when he was talking about the death threats he’s claims he has received since becoming the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the US President Donald Trump administration and the two assassination attempts on Trump during last year’s Presidential Election campaign.
Elon Musk Dons 'Cheesehead' Hat for Wisconsin rally
The contest for the vacant Supreme Court seat pits Republican Brad Schimel, a former state Attorney General, against Democrat Susan Crawford, a Dane County Circuit Judge. On Sunday, Elon Musk took the stage at a Green Bay rally for Republican Brad Schimel, sporting a “cheesehead” hat—a nod to Wisconsinites and Green Bay Packers fans alike.
At the rally, Elon Musk awarded $1 million each to two Wisconsin voters who signed an online petition opposing "activist" judges. He’s also incentivizing signatures with $100 offers, following an earlier $1 million donation to a Green Bay resident who signed. Musk and his allied groups have poured over $20 million into the race, while Democratic heavyweights, including George Soros, are supporting Crawford. The election, set to conclude on Tuesday, April 2, will determine the court's ideological tilt, where liberals currently hold a 4-3 edge—though a retirement this year has put that majority up for grabs.
