Vivo Y28s receives a price cut in India: Here’s how much you will have to pay now

If you have been planning to purchase a budget smartphone from Vivo, then this may be the right time to do so. Vivo has slashed the price of its Vivo Y28s smartphone. Launched in July this year, the smartphone has received a price drop of Rs 500.

Starting today (October 4), the smartphone will be available at an exciting new price of Rs 13,499 for the 4+128GB, Rs 14,999 for the 6+128GB variant, and Rs 16,499 for the 8+128 GB variant.Consumers can purchase the device from vivo India e-store, Flipkart, and all partner retail stores.
Vivo Y28s specifications
The Vivo Y28s features a 16.6 cm (6.56-inch) High Brightness Sunlight display with a peak brightness of up to 840 nits, and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Y28s offers an HD+LCD display and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo Y28s features a dual rear camera setup. It includes the segment's first 50 MP Sony IMX 852 camera. On the front, the Y28s is equipped with an 8MP portrait camera.
The duo come with a Super Night camera mode, enhancing camera performance in low-light conditions. Additionally, the Multi-style portrait mode allows users to capture stunning portraits in both bright and low-light scenes.
The vivo Y28s is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100 5G Processor, built on a 6nm advanced process and an Octa-core CPU architecture, with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz. The smartphone comes equipped with an 8GB RAM which can be further extended by up to 16GB.
The smartphone runs Android 14 operating system topped with the company's own layer of FunTouch OS. Both the smartphones pack a 5000 mAh battery which comes with 15W fast charging support.
