Apple is expected to unveil new generation Macs during an event next month. Ahead of the rumoured launch, an unboxing video of 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 processor has appeared on
YouTube. Posted by Russian channel Wylsacom, the video was later shared on social media platform X by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
Aligning with the previous leak by leakster ShrimpApplePro in late September, the box describes it as a 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip, 16GB memory and 512GB storage.
The packaging also shows three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card slot, and MagSafe. As per the specs revealed on the packaging, the M4 chip will be equipped with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU.
The YouTube channel also revealed the alleged Geekbench 6 benchmark. It suggests that the M4 chip will be up to 25% faster than the M3 chip. For those unaware, Apple has already introduced the M4 chip in the iPad Pro in May this year. It offers up to a 10-core CPU and up to 25% faster performance compared to the M3 chip.
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple may release Macs with M4 chip on November 1, 2024. The video also suggests Space Black as colour variant of the 14-inch MacBook Pro. Other colour options are also expected.

In a related news, iOS 18.1 may have been delayed a little. Apple is poised to release iOS 18.1, featuring the highly anticipated Apple Intelligence suite, on October 28, according to Gurman. The launch, reported in Gurman's Power On newsletter, comes slightly later than initially expected as Apple fine-tunes the rollout.
The delay allows Apple to address potential bugs and ensure its AI cloud servers can handle the influx of traffic from millions of users. This cautious approach underscores the importance of Apple Intelligence to the company's strategy.
