HP launches AI-Powered OmniBook Ultra Flip in India: Price, specifications, and more

HP India today unveiled its first AI-powered 2-in-1 laptop, the OmniBook Ultra Flip, featuring Intel's Lunar Lake processors and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 48 trillion operations per second.

The device, targeting freelancers and content creators, is now available starting at Rs 1,81,999. The new laptop comes in two variants: the Ultra 7 model in Eclipse Grey and Atmospheric Blue, and the Ultra 9 model exclusively in Atmospheric Blue. Both models are available through HP's online store, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline retailers.

The OmniBook Ultra Flip boasts up to 21 hours of battery life and features a 2.8K OLED display with versatile form factors, including laptop, tablet, and tent modes. It incorporates HP's first consumer-level AI security system, HP Wolf Security, designed to protect against AI-generated threats and cyber attacks.
"The OmniBook Ultra Flip is our answer to the evolving needs of today's freelancers and creators," said Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India. The device includes a 9MP AI camera and Poly Audio for enhanced virtual collaboration.
Key features include the Poly Camera Pro with AI-powered features like Spotlight and Background Blur, and HP AI Companion for content analysis and PC optimization. The laptop also comes with Copilot+ PC integration for enhanced productivity and creativity.
HP has emphasised sustainability in the device's construction, using 90% recycled metals and 50% post-consumer recycled plastics. The laptop has earned EPEAT Gold with Climate+ and ENERGY STAR certifications.
As part of a limited-time offer until October 31, 2024, customers will receive Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements worth Rs. 9,999 free with their purchase. Additionally, HP is offering an 18-month no-cost EMI option through Bajaj Finance.
