Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has reached a new milestone. The developer and publisher of the game Activision announced via Call of Duty X handle that the newest game in the franchise has achieved the highest player engagement metrics of any Call of Duty title within its first month of release.
The publisher declared Black Ops 6 as “the biggest Call of Duty ever,” surpassing all previous games in the franchise in terms of player count, hours played, and total matches within the initial 30 days.

Satya Nadella claimed during the company's Q1 FY2025 earnings call that Black Ops 6 was the biggest Call of Duty launch to date.
During Microsoft's earnings call last month, Nadella revealed that Black Ops 6 had not only set a new record for day-one players but also witnessed a significant surge in unit sales on PlayStation and Steam, exceeding the previous year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 by over 60 percent.
Furthermore, Black Ops 6 made history as the first Call of Duty title to launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one, achieving a record number of subscriber additions for the service on its launch day.
Activision also highlighted the record-breaking player engagement in a post on X (formerly Twitter), emphasizing the community's contribution to Black Ops 6's successful launch. However, the publisher did not disclose specific sales figures.
