During Microsoft's earnings call last month, Nadella revealed that Black Ops 6 had not only set a new record for day-one players but also witnessed a significant surge in unit sales on PlayStation and Steam, exceeding the previous year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 by over 60 percent.
Furthermore, Black Ops 6 made history as the first Call of Duty title to launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one, achieving a record number of subscriber additions for the service on its launch day.
