Seth Rollins Calls Out Cody Rhodes Over His Alliance With The Rock at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

Following The Rock’s announcement on his return at the WWE SmackDown, tension flared between WWE superstars Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes at the recently held Monday Night’s RAW, stirring a fresh controversy.
WWE Champion Seth Rollins has confronted fellow heavyweight superstar Cody Rhodes over his alliance with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. During the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown, The Rock said he wanted WWE Undisputed Cody Rhodes' soul, sparking tension between the two wrestlers.
Rhodes then appeared on the February 24th episode of WWE RAW and announced to make The Rock’s dream come true to be his champion. However, Seth Rollins expressed his dissent and made it clear that he wasn’t happy with Rhodes even considering an alliance with The Rock.

Seth Rollins confronted Rhodes in the recently held Monday Night Raw match held on February 24. He interrupted Rhodes when the champion was about to explain what "The Final Boss" meant by his statement. Rollins reminded Rhodes how he stood by his side during the last season of WrestleMania 40, helping him with the Night One main event and the Bloodline Rules match.

Seth Rollins also expressed that his decision to join The Rock felt like a betrayal. However, Rhodes fired back and recalled the time when Rollins stabbed Rhodes in the back before he went off to have surgery. Rhodes also mentioned the breakup of the Shield and being a part of joining The Authority.
Despite that, Rhodes acknowledged Rollins’ support at WrestleMania 2024 and called him the MVP of the event. Nevertheless, Rollins accepted Rhodes’ offer to join The Rock but also threw a challenge to beat him at the Elimination Chamber 2025 and would possibly join for a face-off against Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41.


Cody Rhodes accepted The Rock's offer to join him at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. It is speculated that Rhodes is currently aiming for greater success and a storyline against John Cena at WrestleMania 41.

Despite being the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes still doesn’t have the global recognition in the ring that The Rock has. This association with "The Final Boss" will be an opportunity for Rhodes to expand his career beyond WWE and ensure financial security for his family.
