“I will be the last real champion”- John Cena vows to ruin wrestling by erasing Ric Flair's legacy on WWE RAW

John Cena appeared on Monday Night RAW in Scotland, vowing to win his 17th World Championship to erase Ric Flair's legacy. He promised to retire as the 'last real champion' and take the title home, leaving fans with a toy belt. Cody Rhodes challenged Cena but he walked out, predicting Cena's defeat at WrestleMania 41.

John Cena has laid out his devious plan to ruin wrestling for all fans and erase the legacy of Ric Flair by winning his 17th World title.
The March 24th, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW at the OVO Hydro in Scotland opened with the man who turned his back on the fans after twenty years, John Cena. The fans got a glimpse of what an angered and vicious Cena could be last week on RAW. He launched one of the most hennious words and a verbal rant in Belgium breaking up his relationship with the fans. This week on RAW, John Cena just escalated that to another level with his words this week, too.

John Cena vows to ruin wrestling for every WWE fan

The show opened with John Cena entering the arena to a loud chorus of boos and jeers from the fans of Scotland. As he was about to speak, he was once again met with loud jeers, which prompted him to ask if there was anything they wanted to say. The 16-time WWE Champion and made it clear that even the youngest fans were not safe from his wrath.
John Cena brought up all the profanities the fans had been showering on him and revealed that he had been playing along to get to know everything about them, calling them "horrible people." The Cenation Leader then brought up his iconic spinner WWE Championship, which the fans showed major disrespect towards, which Cena claimed was one of his best ideas.
Furthermore, John Cena made it clear that he would make history by winning his 17th World Championship at WrestleMania 41 and erasing Ric Flair's legacy so that people would remember his name forever. He claimed that he will retire as champion and take home the real title with him while the fans will be left with a toy belt as he will be the 'last real champion' of WWE.

This led to Cody Rhodes coming down to the ring and firing back at Cena, challenging him to first try and take the title from him. He laid down the title and dared Cena to take it. But Cena chose to walk out of the ring and leave. As he was making his way out, Rhodes proclaimed it would be exactly how Cena would be walking out of WrestleMania 41, "with nothing."
