Bobrovsky added another milestone to his storied career on Thursday night, stopping all 16 shots in a commanding 3-0 win over Columbus. This marked his second shutout in four games and his fourth of the season. More significantly, it was the 423rd win of his career, tying him with the legendary Tony Esposito for 10th place on the NHL's all-time wins list. The 36-year-old reached this feat in just 742 career games, 144 fewer than Esposito's 886, underscoring his efficiency and dominance in the crease.
"It seems like it's always another milestone for Bobby," said Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad. "We're extremely proud of him."
With his next victory, Bobrovsky will claim sole possession of 10th place, setting his sights on more historic names. Ahead of him are Jacques Plante (437), Terry Sawchuk (445), Curtis Joseph (454), Henrik Lundqvist (459), Ed Belfour (484), Roberto Luongo (489), Patrick Roy (551), Marc-Andre Fleury (573), and the all-time leader, Martin Brodeur, with a staggering 691 wins over 1,266 games played.

Bobrovsky has been on a tear in recent weeks. Over his last three starts, he boasts three wins, two shutouts, and has allowed just one goal. After finishing third in Vezina voting last season, he made up for it by backstopping the Panthers to their first Stanley Cup. His current form is nothing short of elite, posting a 9-2-0 record with an impressive .942 save percentage over his last 11 games.
Thursday's shutout also marked the 48th of his career, according to ESPN Research, further solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s premier goaltenders.
The Columbus Blue Jackets attempted to challenge him, but their efforts fell short. "I don't think we got enough action around him as far as making it difficult on him," admitted Columbus center Boone Jenner. (via: ESPN)
With history within reach and his performance at its peak, Bobrovsky is proving why he belongs among the NHL's all-time greats. As he continues this remarkable run, another Vezina Trophy may just be the next accolade in his legendary career.
