Taylor Swift, the billionaire pop star, has travelled the world for her Eras Tour but has actually never performed at the most watched event in the world, the Super Bowl. There have always been speculations about Taylor Swift taking the stage for the Super Bowl, especially when she began dating Travis Kelce but it never worked out. But now there are rumours that Taylor Swift might perform at the Super Bowl 2026 after all.

Taylor Swift Will Be “Considered” For Super Bowl Performance But She Will Not Perform Until Travis Kelce Makes A Major Decision

According to DailyMail.com, a source has revealed that while there have not been any official discussions between the NFL and Taylor Swift about her performance at Super Bowl 2026, but she will always be “considered”.
The source added, “Taylor is not in talks but is always a phone call away because the NFL knows they would be stupid if they didn't at least entertain the fact to her that she should do it.”
However, there are two reasons why Taylor Swift has not performed at the Super Bowl yet. As per DailyMail.com, the source has revealed, “When she eventually performs at it, she wants all her loved ones to be able to experience it. And as long as Travis is in the league, the Chiefs have a chance to be in the game, so she is going to wait to do it till he is officially done.”
The other reason is Pepsi has been a long time sponsor of the NFL and Taylor Swift is associated with Coke. In 2022, Apple became the official sponsor of the NFL so now there is a chance that once Travis Kelce retires from the league, we might see Taylor Swift take the stage at the Super Bowl.
The source has also revealed to DailyMail.com that Jay-Z is being asked to bring an artist away from the world of hip hop due to the “disappointing” experience when famous rapper Kendrick Lamar took the stage at Super Bowl 2025.
