After playing with the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers, now it’s time for Justin Fields to make his entry into the 2025 NFL season.Fields, a versatile young player, has made 4-2 with some respectable stat lines under center, but his luck did not favor him under head coach Mike Tomlin. Tomlin instead chose to go ahead with Russell Wilson to replace the young quarterback.

“Everything happens for a reason,” Justin Fields makes his first public speech, and says he never lost hope

Addressing the reporters for the very first time, Justin Fields said, “Yeah, I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason.” The message was delivered on Wednesday, April 9, via a video conference.
Speaking about his comfort level, he said, “It was, of course, different for me and a space where I wasn't necessarily comfortable.” Even detailing about Russell Wilson, the young QB said, “ Of course, Russ has been in the league for a long time, so I learned a lot of great things from him and got to learn a different perspective of things.”Fields carried an optimistic behavior and shared his relationship with head coach Mike Tomlin. Despite all the mishaps, he stated he does not have any bitterness for the legend.
“Coach [Mike] Tomlin made a decision he thought was best for the team, and I'm never going to go against that,” Fields said about the benching.“I'm not a selfish guy whatsoever, so I just tried to change my perspective, get better each and every day in practice,” he further added.Russell Wilson recently signed a fresh deal with the Giants, who were earlier a part of the Steelers team. Throwing light on this young quarterback, Fields, the opportunity with the Jets shall bring good luck in his life.“Definitely something that I want to prove to myself, and I think, you know, my expectations for myself are higher than anybody else’s, to be honest with you,” Justin Fields said. Also read: Jets QB Justin Fields shrugs off replacement talk, calls QB speculation nothing but ‘rhetorical’ noise
