Milwaukee Bucks superstar
Giannis Antetokounmpohas had enough of the ongoing narrative that he and
Damian Lillardhaven't figured out how to play together. In a recent postgame interview, the two-time MVP made it clear that, in his eyes,
no other duo in the NBA is outscoring them, so the doubts are invalid at best, as they have been in their A-game this season so far.

Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t hold back when responding to a question about his chemistry with
Damian Lillard.
"I'll be very honest with you, I'm not following the NBA as much as I should be following probably, but is there a higher scoring duel than me and Dame in the league? So guys, what are we even talking about?" Antetokounmpo said without hesitation.
The Greek Freak also shared his frustration over critics constantly questioning the duo. "I feel like people have created this narrative that me and Dame are not working together, but nobody's doing it better than me and him right now. At the end of the day, we were able to play some competitive games early in the season against the best teams in the NBA, and we were able to win the NBA Cup."
Of course, every team and every player walks through ups and downs, and the Milwaukee Bucks duo is no exception. "Since then, obviously, we've had some ups and downs throughout the season, but we've been playing good basketball overall,?he shared, adding, “I'd say. I believe with time, things will always improve."
Antetokounmpo made it known that while critics continue to question their partnership, the numbers back up their dominance. He further shared that building chemistry takes time and pointed out how long it took for him and Khris Middleton to develop their connection.
“With Dame, the connection that I have with Dame in year two—and the year is not even over yet—is better than the connection I had with Khris in year two.?br/>It’s hard to argue with Giannis?point when looking at their production. Antetokounmpo is putting up MVP-caliber numbers with averages of 30.9 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game while shooting an incredible 60.6% from the field. Lillard, on the other hand, is adding 25.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per contest, shooting 44.7% from the floor and 38.0% from deep.
Their combined offensive output is among the best in the league, making them one of the most potent duos in the NBA. While the Bucks have had ups and downs this season, Giannis remains confident that their partnership will only improve with time.
“We will be leaning on one another, we will be trusting our skill set, we've been trusting one another, we've been trusting our teammates, and we've done a better job empowering our teammates.?br/>Also Read:

Regardless, Antetokounmpo and Lillard’s partnership may still be evolving, but their impact on the floor is undeniable.
