The Golden State Warriors are riding high on success after beating the Toronto Raptors 117-114 on Thursday. However, Stephen Curry suffered a pelvic injury after landing on his back during the game and was forced to sit out for the remainder of the third quarter. There is still no update on how long the point guard will take to recover. In these challenging times, Jimmy Butler stepped up to provide strength and confidence to the team, ensuring they can still win even if Curry doesn’t return soon.

Stephen Curry gets injured

Regarding Stephen Curry’s injury, Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr revealed that the 37-year-old underwent an MRI after the game and was diagnosed with a pelvic contusion. Although Curry has reportedly expressed interest in returning to play despite the injury, the team has yet to provide an update on his return.
Curry was recently given some rest after showing signs of fatigue on the court. Kerr mentioned that giving him time to rest was crucial for him to recover fully and be ready for upcoming games with renewed energy.

Jimmy Butler shows confidence in his teammates

The Golden State Warriors are committed to maintaining their winning streak. They are set to face the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. Sharing words of motivation for his teammates, Butler said, “If he (Curry) isn’t with us, that’s just more perfect basketball that we’re going to have to play. We can’t afford to turn the ball over. We can’t afford to foul. Because we don’t have the one individual who can automatically get us back into the game.�?br/>

Butler has proven his worth ever since he left the Miami Heat for the Golden State Warriors in February this year. He has become a force to reckon with on the court, averaging 17.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in the 18 games he has played as part of the Warriors. On Thursday, he recorded his second triple-double with the Warriors, registering 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists.
