“We’re not fazed”: Aaron Judge expresses confidence in Yankees' lineup despite constant struggles with ever-growing injury list

Despite several key players being injured, Yankees' captain Aaron Judge remains confident in the team's ability to overcome these challenges. He believes younger players will step up, continuing the team's tradition of resilience and performance, similar to their impressive run in 2019 during a similar situation.

With several of the New York Yankees’ players joining the injured list, the team has been feeling the pressure this year, even before Opening Day. However, Yankees’ captain Aaron Judge is not stressing out. He feels confident enough, despite the team hitting hard.

Yankees’ captain Aaron Judge says the team will overcome the injuries and come back stronger

This year, the New York Yankees are prepared to lose out on Gerrit Cole, Luis Gill, and even Giancarlo Stanton right before Opening Day. The New York Yankees’ captain Aaron Judge, however, believes the tram is built differently, as they will be able to survive this extremely difficult situation, without being harmed.
SEASON DISASTER: Aaron Judge's new INJURY CONFIRMED — Yankees star could MISS entire season

Aaron Judge, who was in a conversation with the New York Post, explained that the team isn’t falling apart and they will play a solid game. Judge said:
"Nobody in this room is fazed, which I think has been incredible … Nobody in this room is really hit that hard, You miss Gerrit Cole, one of the best pitchers in the game … Luis Gill, who emerged as probably our second-best starter last season … Big G (Giancarlo Stanton) not being in there. You can't replace Cole. You can't replace Luis Gil. But I think we've got some young guys I feel are going to step up."

Yankees’ strategy includes pushing younger players to fill the legends’ positions

But, this is not the first time when the New York Yankees are feeling the pressure. Even in 2019, the team faced a similar situation when the team had most players on the injured list. The team, however, managed to still win 103 games and even made it to ALCS. For the Yankees, players with injuries have become a challenge, something they’re able to figure out well in their time.
The team captain Aaron Judge understands the importance of losing out on key players like Gerrit Cole and Giancarlo Stanton. However, he explains that the reason he’s confident is because he knows there are other players who will work harder and stand tall at these positions. The Yankees’ focus remains on younger players like Will Warren, Jasson Dominguez, and Ben Rice.
