The contract was worth a whopping $765 million and is for 15 years with the New York Mets. While there have been many discussions around his contract, the latest one to speak about it is the New York Yankees’ star player Aaron Judge and fans are happy with his opinions.

In a recent media interaction, Aaron Judge opened up about his feelings regarding Juan Soto leaving the New York Yankees for the New York Mets to win the World Series. Aaron Judge said, "That's his opinion. He can say what he wants, I definitely disagree with it. I wasn't too surprised by it, I think that's where he wanted to be."
Aaron Judge’s comments about Juan Soto’s decision to join the New York Mets did not go down very well with fans. A fan wrote, “The Mets were better than the Yankees last season. They would have ran through the joke that was the American League. The Yankees have gotten worse, the Mets have gotten better.”

A second fan wrote, “Damn right. Yankees have a terrible clubhouse culture. It shows”, while another fan wrote, “Soto will have more fun and play better for the Mets”.
Many fans also joked about Aaron Judge looking for a trade to the New York Mets and following Juan Soto’s path. A fan wrote, “Judge about to request a trade to the Mets.”
Another user wrote, “Nobody wants to play for the Yankees. They haven’t won anything in 2 decades. I think Soto made the right decision.”

Juan Soto’s Career In Major League Baseball Before He Signed A $765 Million Deal With The New York Mets


Juan Soto started his career in Major League Baseball by playing for the Washington Nationals in 2018 and left the team in 2022 when he joined the San Diego Padres. In 2023, he signed a one year deal with the San Diego Padres which was worth a whopping $23 million.
He recorded an impressive performance that season and then went to join his former team, the New York Yankees in 2024 for a one year contract which was worth $31 million.
In December 2024, the star player made history as he signed a 15 year deal with the New York Mets and broke all records in the history of professional sports in the U.S.
