Jett's Abilities: Speed and Powerful Dashes

• Cloudburst: Instantly throws a projectile that erupts into a vision-blocking cloud upon impact with a surface. A player may hold the ability key to curve the smoke in the direction of their crosshair, allowing players to use strategic positioning and vision denial.

• Updraft: A burst of wind propels Jett high into the air, letting her soar to new heights. This is ideal for getting to higher places or avoiding attacks.

• Tailwind: The signature ability of Jett is Tailwind, which allows Jett to dash in any direction. When the required few seconds are done after activating this ability, she is ready to dash forwards or sideways. Tailwind resets after every two kills, despite all this, thus giving Jett an opportunity for continuous repositioning and unpredictability.

• Blade Storm: Jett equips a set of very accurate throwing knives, which can inflict significant amounts of damage on targets. The primary fire throws a single knife, whereas the alt-fire hurls all remaining knives. By killing with a knife, players recharge the knives, thus making Blade Storm an important ability for aggressive manipulation, allowing nimble kill chaining from a master user.

Tips for Playing Jett

• Prepare Your Dash: What most new Jett players forget is the Tailwind ability while going out for an aggressive play. If you don't activate it beforehand, it might make you vulnerable and caught unaware from the back on a quick escape. Pre-empt your dash by activating Tailwind before peeking into the danger zone.

• Use Cloudburst for Safety: Always consider a Cloudburst in an aggressive play to cover the eyes before using a dash. Throwing a Cloudburst into a very tight area with an enemy site will deny most narrow angles of sight and give you a window to either reposition or gather intel.

• Adapt to Your Role: For attackers, create space for the team and disturb enemy locations displacing them as every possible attack tactic requires. Mobility performs a very important role in dodging opponents, laying bomb spots, and surprising the targets through speed. But while defending, this will apply score on the early pick-offs and then reposition your mobility from kill to kill.
