Until Sunday, Ravi Bishnoi had never hit a six in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
At Wankhede Stadium against Mumbai Indians, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) spinner hit two maximums. And one of them came off Jasprit Bumrah's bowling.

Bishnoi not only hit the audacious shot but also celebrated by punching his fists. Bishnoi's celebration put a smile on Jasprit Bumrah's face. In the LSG dugout, captain Rishabh Pant and mentor Zaheer Khan were also seen laughing and pointing at Bishnoi.

It was a clinical performance by the five-time champion Mumbai Indians, who defeated LSG by 54 runs for their fifth successive win in IPL 2025.
Who's that IPL player?
Bumrah, picking up 4 for 22, became the highest wicket-taker for the Mumbai Indians in IPL history with 174 wickets, going past Lasith Malinga's 170.
Bumrah, who came in as an Impact Substitute in place of Rohit Sharma, struck the first blow for Mumbai Indians in the third over and removed Aiden Markram in his first over.
Jasprit Bumrah then returned to hasten LSG's end with a triple-wicket over, sending back David Miller (24), Abdul Samad (2), and Avesh Khan (0), the last two off successive balls in an eventful 16th over, troubling the batters with precise deliveries and quick change of pace as LSG fell from 140/5 to 142/8 within six balls.
Earlier, Ryan Rickelton (58) and Suryakumar Yadav (54) helped Mumbai post 215/7 after being asked to bat first. Then Bumrah and Trent Boult led a brilliant performance by the bowlers as LSG were bundled out for 161 in 20 overs. This is the first win for Mumbai Indians over LSG in the league phase, which came in seven matches.
