Tej's team wins badminton match

KANPUR: Mainpuri MP Tej Pratap Yadav on Wednesday won the hearts of sports lovers in Saifai with his badminton skills.
Tej and his partner Rohan Verma won the men's doubles match in the Murti Devi Memorial State-Level Badminton Tournament in Saifai.
More than 200 men and women players from all over the state took part in the senior and junior categories in the tournament organised as part of Saifai Mahotsava.
Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav greeted the players at the newly constructed badminton hall at the sports complex. The tournament had begun on January 3.
Akhilesh distributed mementos and trophies to winners and runners-up and said that sports and games were the key to a healthy mind and body.
