For every parent, a successful child is a moment of pride. From childhood to adulthood, it takes a lot of sacrifices for parents to make their kids achieve their dreams and live a happy life. And when the same child surprises you with joys of life, it becomes ever merrier. A son recently did that by making his father dine at an iconic 5-star hotel in Delhi, where he (father) worked as a watchman.
As per an X post, by the handle @desiastronomer handled by Aryan Mishra, he took his father and mother to dine at ITC Bukhara, a legacy restaurant at ITC Maurya, where his father served as a watchman for the hotel. The post reads, "My father was a watchman at ITC in New Delhi from 1995-2000; today I had the opportunity to take him to the same place for dinner :)"
The post went viral and has garnered more than a million views in less than 24 hours. Take a look at the post:
The post included a poignant photo of the father, mother, and son dining together at a table, representing the journey of their hard work and achievements.
The story resonated with internet users, who expressed their affection in the comments section. One user said, “Let’s cherish our #Parents. They make countless sacrifices for their children’s growth and future. As children grow, they should repay that with love and care. I may not have seen God, but I have seen my parents!”
Taking to the comment section, another user wrote, "You know, the father might have worked his heart out to make sure his kid has a better future. Appreciate you doing this to him." "I don't even know you, but you made my day," said a third user.
The iconic ITC Bukhara is known for its kebabs, naans, and the most popular Dal Bukhara, a legacy curry dish that is slow-cooked overnight and uses a set range of ingredients sourced from the same vendor and location for decades.
