Dolly Parton teams up with James Patterson to write her first novel

Country music star Dolly Parton has written her first novel! Parton teamed up with bestselling author James Patterson to write the novel 'Run, Rose, Run', which is expected to be published by early next year.
It's noted that thought Parton has written a few memoirs before, this is her first work of fiction.
'Run, Rose, Run' tells the story of a young woman, who shifts to Nashville to make her dreams of becoming a musician come true.'Parton will release an album of the same name alongside the book, consisting of 12 original tracks,' reports The Guardian. Parton revealed that the 12 songs were based on her novel's characters and the situations their and these songs will also be a part of her upcoming book.
Talking about collaborating with Parton, Patterosn said, according to The Guardian, “It’s been an honour – and a hell of a lot of fun – to work with the inimitable Dolly Parton.”

'Run, Rose, Run' will be published by Penguin Random House in March 2022.
