Watch: Ram Pothineni, Krithi Shetty's 'The Warrior' trailer out, promises a gripping cop drama

Actor Ram Pothineni sharpened his mass angle with the movie 'iSmart Shankar' and received a blockbuster hit. After disappointing with 'Red', now he is coming to declare war on the box office with 'The Warrior'. Ram will be seen as a powerful police officer in this massive action drama directed by Tamil director N Lingusamy. Krithi Shetty is playing the heroine in this film. Aadhi Pinisetty will be seen as a dreaded villain.
'The Warrior' is going to be released worldwide on July 14 amid huge expectations.As part of the promotions of the movie, the trailer of the movie was released today (July 1). While the Telugu trailer was released by Tollywood director Boyapati Seenu, the Tamil trailer was released by Tamil star hero Sivakarthikeyan.
Going by the 2 minutes and 45 seconds trailer, Ram Pothineni has tried to impress as a powerful police officer. The trailer is lived up to the expectations with the range of commercial elements. Satya is a cop who goes to Kurnool as a Deputy Commissioner of Police locks horns with the local goon named Guru. Although the roles of the protagonist and the villain may not seem new, both of them are competing in their respective roles. The chemistry between Ram and Krithi Shetty seems to have worked out well.

Bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, the supporting cast of 'The Warrior' includes Akshara Gowda, Nadhiya, Bharathiraja, Chirag Jani, Redin Kingsley, Brahmaji and others in important roles. The technical crew comprises Dani Sujith Vaassudev as cinematographer, while Devi Sri Prasad enhances is on board as the music composer. Navin Nooli has been roped in as the editor for the project.
