Tollywood beckons Shalu

Shalu Chourasiya is set to make her Tollywood debut with the forthcoming film Sailu. Directed by first-timer, Sandeep Garapati, a prot��g�� of VV Vinayak, the film is tipped to a romantic drama.
���The film set in the 1970���s. I���m playing the daughter of a village headman based in Rajahmundry. I fall in love with a guy but our elders do not approve of our love. How we convince them eventually forms the crux of the plot,��� shares an excited Shalu.
Explaining how she landed the film, Shalu says, ���I had acted in a Telugu short film earlier. Director Sandeep saw the film and and offered me the role. I was only too happy to hop in.���
She has also signed her second film directed by Kishore. ���I play a college-goer and the film based on friendship and love,��� says the former model who was born and brought up in Madhya Pradesh.
