The Allu Arjun starrer and Sukumar directorial 'Pushpa Part 1' song 'Oo Antava Mawa' became an instant hit upon its release which starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, the 'Citadel' actress was not the first choice for the song.
As per a 123Telugu report, at the 'Robinhood' pre-release event, filmmaker Ravi Shankar disclosed that Ketika Sharma was initially approached for the song before Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but couldn't take the opportunity.
The song is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Chandrabose wrote the lyrics, and Indravathi Chauhan sang the song. The song appears in the film after Pushpa successfully transports sandalwood without being caught by the police. It was released in multiple languages and the hook step dance, featuring Samantha and Allu Arjun became very popular.
Ketika Sharma recently featured in "Adhi Dha Surprisu" for 'Robinhood'. However, the song has drawn criticism for its lyrics and dance steps, with some calling it vulgar. Some have asked choreographer Shekar Master to retire, criticizing its "vulgar" steps. Some also remarked that the video is objectifying women and needs to be banned.
Recently, Warner and Sharma performed together at the movie's event.

Speaking about the upcoming film, Nithiin stars as Ram, a modern-day Robin Hood. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film follows Ram, a master thief, who unexpectedly becomes the personal security officer for Neera Vasudev, played by Sreeleela.
The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Vennela Kishore, and Rajendra Prasad. Interestingly, the movie stars David Warner who makes his Indian cinema debut in a cameo role.
The film is scheduled to release on March 28, 2025.
