SS Rajamouli gears up for 'SSMB29' with intensive workshops; film to go on floors in summer 2024

Soon, SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu will collaborate on a new film. According to recent reports, the movie will kick off with intensive workshops towards the end of 2023. Rajamouli is apparently arranging workshops for several departments that will run for six months. As per the reports, this film will feature extensive visual effects, and therefore, workshops on VFX composition, usage of green screens, and other related aspects will be conducted.It is said that Rajamouli intends to make this Mahesh Babu starrer even grander than his previous projects.
Recently, during an interview with American media, SS Rajamouli announced that his upcoming film features Telugu cinema's prominent star, Mahesh. According to Rajamouli, the film is an adventure flick that draws inspiration from Indiana Jones but is set in a more contemporary and expansive backdrop. The movie will entail globetrotting and showcase the Maharishi star executing some extensive action sequences.
'SSMB29' is expected to begin in the summer 2024.
Fans of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu had anticipated that the title for SSMB28 would be announced on Ugadi, but unfortunately, it did not happen. The producers of SSMB28, Haarike and Hassine Creations, took to Twitter and stated that they would reveal the update at an appropriate time.

The cast of 'SSMB28' now includes Pooja Hegde, Sreeleela, Jagapathi Babu, and the recent addition of actor Jayaram. Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas have teamed up for the third time to create 'SSMB28', following the successes of their previous hits, Athadu and Khaleja. SS Thaman will be responsible for the film's music. It is expected that the movie will be released on August 11, 2023.
