Sree Vishnu and Ritu Varma starrer 'Swag' is streaming on THIS OTT platform

Sree Vishnu and Ritu Varma's comedy film 'Swag' has made its debut on the OTT platform just weeks after its theatrical release on October 4, 2024. The film is now available for streaming as of October 25, 2024, a fact announced by Ritu Varma herself on social media.

The film can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, "Experience the WORLD OF #SWAG at your home screens now! #SWAGTheFilm Streaming Now on @PrimeVideoIN"

'Swag' is also set in the Swaganika dynasty, where various characters claim their right to ancestral property. The film is a comical entertainer that shifts between the present day and the year 1551. On one hand, it deals with the issues of Entitlement and Inheritance, and on the other hand, it narrates a fictional tale as of how one man had dethroned a matriarchal society to establish patriarchy.

Directed by Hasith Goli, Sree Vishnu is in different characters. The storyline failed to click at the box office, and there was a hasty release on OTT. Though the performers received pirase, the screenplay was confusing, and not engaging, remarked the critics. The film's story is based on topics such as gender equality through a comedic lens.
