Venu Udugula’s
Rana Daggubati and
Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam is currently in its last leg of shoot.
The film’s final schedule is taking place in and around Hyderabad, with Rana also sharing that a few night shoots were canned. The film that is a love story set in the 1990s with naxalism as its backdrop will see a face-off between the government and a naxalite group. While the film already has an ensemble cast, sources close to the unit told us that
Nivetha Pethuraj has been roped in to play a crucial role.
The actress is even taking part in the on-going schedule to can her scenes.
Apart from Rana Daggubati, Sai Pallavi and Nivetha Pethuraj, Virata Parvam boasts of a cast that features names like

Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad, Anand Ravi, Anand Chakrapani and more. D Suresh Babu will be presenting the film bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherkuri of SLV Cinemas. The film will see music by Suresh Bobbili.
Nivetha Pethuraj was last seen in the role of Nandu in Trivikram’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo with Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde and Sushanth A. The actress made her debut in Telugu as Swetcha in the 2017 film Mental Madhilo, directed by Vivek Athreya, with Sree Vishnu and Amrutha Srinivasan as her co-stars. She later went on to act in Chitralahari, Brochevarevarura and will soon also be seen in the Telugu remake of Thadam, titled RED, with Ram Pothineni as her co-star.
