Naga Chaitanya, Samantha and Divyansha Kaushik's 'Majili' trailer offers a glimpse into the intense tale!

The trailer of Shiva Nirvana’s Naga Chaitanya, Samantha and Divyansha Kaushik starrer ‘Majili’ was released over the weekend.
The trailer that has raked in more than 2M digital views in less than 24 hours sees Naga Chaitanya play the role of an alcoholic named Poorna who listens to be same song over and over again on a cassette player. He’s chided by everyone around him for being dependent on his wife Shravani, played by Samantha.It’s revealed that even the liquor he drinks is bought with his wife’s money. His wife on the other hand seems like a warm person who believes her husband can do no wrong, no matter how much he’s criticised.
The trailer also reveals that at the age of 19, he had a different life as a cricketer and a girlfriend named Anshu, played by Divyansha Kaushik. Anshu being the daughter of a Naval officer seems to cause issues in their relationship, thanks to her father played by Atul Kulkarni. The trailer also sees Naga Chaitanya talk of an unknown character named Meera, even if it isn’t revealed who plays it yet. Subbaraju, Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali are also shown briefly in the trailer, with the film taking place in Visakhapatnam.
‘Majili’ sees cinematography by Vishnu Sarma, music by Gopi Sundar and BGM by Thaman S. It remains to be seen if Shiva Nirvana will recreate the magic of ‘Ninnu Kori’ on April 5 with this film.
