Choreographers Remo D’Souza, Kruti Mahesh,
Bosco Martis,
Vijay Ganguly, Ganesh Acharya, and dancer Shakti Mohan recently had a discussion on a YouTube channel about choreographers of highly successful projects getting less acknowledgement for their effort. While addressing the issue, they pointed out how the choreographer of the 'RRR' movie's chartbuster track 'Naatu Naatu' did not get much recognition for its success.
In a channel called Nritya Shakti, these choreographers came together to talk about how each of the members in a movie crew is receiving a different level of acknowledgement for their work. Soon, Bosco Martis took an instance where he felt a lack of acknowledgement for ‘RRR’ choreographer
Prem Rakshit even after the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won an Oscar and created waves at a global level.

Bosco stated that he was shocked when ‘Naatu Naatu’ was celebrated at the Oscars, but the choreographer was not. The song was performed at the Oscars, and the person who created the steps was not visible. The world grooved to the song, and he still remained unrecognized and less acknowledged.
Meanwhile, Remo D’Souza emphasized how actors, directors, and music composers did not give any acknowledgment for Prem Rakshit’s contribution to this acclaimed song.
MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose received the prestigious award, and Keeravaani took that time to talk about his love for ‘The Carpenters’ by performing a rendition of their song ‘On Top Of The World.’
Prem Rakshit previously expressed his gratitude for all as ‘Naatu Naatu’ became sensational. He had said that he felt blessed while MM Keeravaani and Chandrabose received the Oscar. Keeravaani hugged him, and that moment stands special for him.
