Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha Movie Review : Abbavaram plays Good Samaritan; earns the right to twirl his moustache

Critic's Rating: 3.0/5
Story: Vishnu (Kiran Abbavaram), an orphan, grows up under the care of his grandfather (Subhalekha Sudhakar). Imbibing good morals, he plays a Good Samaritan to people around him and becomes a known name in Tirupati. Dharshana (Kashmira Pardeshi), a wannabe social media content creator, comes up with the idea of a phone number neighbour and gets in touch with Vishnu. Both trace the other phone number neighbour, Sharma (Murali Sharma). Things take intriguing, mystery-filled turns when these three people become friends.

Review: There is no doubt in saying Kiran Abbavaram is on a roll and slowly but steadily becoming a household name with his style of movies. His current release, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, has emotion, action, romance, comedy, and mystery and even delivers a message. Director Murali Kishor Abburu and his team did a fine job at helming a decent film which will strike a chord with the fans of Abbavaram. Chaitan Bharadwaj’s music provided the needed elevation, and Daniel Viswas’s cinematography was pleasing. Marthand K Venkatesh took care of the editing department. Dialogues are one of the film’s significant strengths but might sometimes feel preachy.

What sets out as a comedy with Vishnu narrating his story to Ranjan in a garage setup with Money Heist references takes a romantic route, brings in emotion and doles out some action sequences. NIA is brought into the picture in short spells to keep things spiced up, and a sense of mystery lingers on the back of everyone’s head watching the movie. The first half establishes these three characters of Vishnu, Dharashana and Sharma, threads their connections, and ends on a mysterious note. Things take an intriguing turn in the second half as Vishnu seeks answers. Though stylistic and well-choreographed to elevate the protagonist, action sequences could have been kept more realistic. Despite being entertaining, the comic episodes among the three characters and their journey together feel a little stretched after a point. Sharma’s duets with Dharshana to turn her into a celebrity evoke laughter initially but feels a little overdone. The concept of a phone number neighbour takes a gigantic jump in the second half as Vishnu tries to trace a missing person. It might feel a little overstretched for some. The film ends with an exciting twist and makes up for all its shortcomings. Whatmore? It even hints at a sequel.

Kiran Abbavaram has again delivered an impressive performance, excelling in all aspects of acting. Kashmira Pardeshi looked cute and made her presence felt. Murali Sharma has once again proved himself to be a versatile actor and thrives in a dual-shaded character. Other actors Subhalekha Sudhakar, LB Sriram, Aamani, Sharath Lohitashwa, Praveen, Tarak Ponnappa, Bharat Reddy, Mathew Varghese, Pammi Sai, Srinivas and others played their parts well to their limitations.

Overall, the film comes across as a complete family entertainer with some thrilling moments as its USP.

Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha movie is a very good story, and the movie covered all elements like fun, thrill, emotions, values, love and affection. Seems like Murali Kishore Abburu (Nandhu) is very promising Director and Nandhu is hidden gem in Indian movie industry. I believe Nandhu will be among one in top 5 Directors in coming years.
Amazing performance by Kiran Abbavaram, Kashmira, Murali Sharma.
Music Director Chaitan Bhardhwaj is next level and he is highly matured in his style of music, I believe he is very underrated but for sure he has very bright future ahead.
