Thalapathy Vijay's much awaited film 'The Greatest of All Time', also known as GOAT directed by Venkat Prabhu is gearing up to hit the screens on September 5, 2024 ahead of Vinayagar Chaturthi. While Vijay and Venkat Prabhu had been in Los Angeles for the post production work, the latest is that the VFX work for the film has been completed.
The 'GOAT' team is reportedly using a de-aging technique to film Vijay's younger portions in the film.

Sharing a picture of Vijay in front of a green screen, Venkat Prabhu wrote, "Successfully completed the VFX work with @actorvijay na at #lolavfx can’t wait for the output!!!"

LA based Lola Visual Effects, which has handled the VFX for Hollywood films like 'Avatar', 'Captain Marvel', 'Avengers: Endgame', and several other fantasy films, have worked on the visual effect of 'GOAT. Touted to be a sci-fi action drama, Vijay is expected to appear in dual roles, one young and other old.
The star cast of the film includes actress Meenaakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead with Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh in important roles.
