'The Test' wrap-up video: R Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine starrer to have a summer 2024 release

Tamil film 'The Test' starring R Madhavan, Siddharth, Nayanthara, and Meera Jasmine in lead roles, has wrapped up shooting and is set to hit theaters in the summer of 2024. The film's makers released a behind-the-scenes video of 'The Test,' announcing the completion of its shooting.
While sharing the video on Instagram, Nayanthara wrote, “It’s a WRAP for #theTEST🏏 See you in cinemas, this Summer!”

The movie marks producer S.Sashikanth's directorial debut. It is expected to be a sports drama in which Siddharth will play the role of Arjun, a cricketer, and will revolve around an International Test Cricket match. The video shows the crew arranging shots in a stadium, with Siddharth wearing a cricket jersey. Some on-set moments of Meera Jasmine, Madhavan, and Nayanthara can also be seen in the video. Siddharth signs off the video by saying, ‘End of play, end of shooting Test, see you in the cinema.’

S Sashikanth, known for producing films like 'Vikram Vedha,' 'Irudhi Suttru,' and 'Kaaviya Thalaivan,' is making his directorial debut with this movie. "The Test" will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
On the work front, R. Madhavan is gearing up for the movie 'Shaitaan' with Ajay Devgn and Jyotika. Siddharth will be seen in Shankar’s 'Indian 2,' and Nayanthara will star in 'Thani Oruvan 2' alongside Jayam Ravi.
