The South Indian International Movie Awards 2023 is being held in Dubai this year. Stars from the Tamil cinema industry are attending the event, including Kaali Venkat, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor, and Yogi Babu, who is nominated for Best Comedy Actor. Music composer GV Prakash is also attending and will be performing at the event. The films 'Vikram' and 'Ponniyin Selvan' have received multiple nominations and are expected to dominate the award categories. Kamal Haasan has also arrived in Dubai for the SIIMA awards.

The South Indian International Movie Awards 2023 is being held in Dubai this year. The awards for Tamil cinema are currently being given and stars are stepping onto the red carpet as they look forward to a bright and colourful evening. Actor Kaali Venkat who has been nominated for the Best Supporting Actor for 'Gargi' walked the red carpet of the 11th edition of SIIMA in white veshti and shirt.The actor was traditionally dressed in the cultural attire of Tamil Nadu.
Following Kaali Venkat, actor Yogi Babu, who is nominated for the Best Comedy Actor, Tamil for 'Love Today' walked the red carpet. The star wore plain black pants with a checkered shirt. Expressing his religious belief, Yogi Babu also appeared with the sandal and vermillion on his forehead. Former actress Shrutika Arjun also walked the red carpet at SIIMA.
Music composer GV Prakash also walked the red carpet at SIIMA 2023. He attended the press meet held before the SIIMA on Thursday evening and he will also be performing today, September 16 at the event. GV Prakash is also nominated for the award of Best Music Director Tamil for the film 'Sardar'.
The 11th SIIMA Awards has multiple nominations in Kollywood and the films like 'Vikram' and 'Ponniyin Selvan' dominate the award categories.
