Popular television actress and VJ Chitra was found dead in her hotel room today, and the sudden death of the 28-year-old has shocked the cinema industry. Kollywood stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Khushbu, Aathmika, and others expressed their shock at the demise of Chitra and share their condolences on social media.




Aishwarya Rajesh was deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the death of actress Chitra, and addressed her as a very promising and gifted artist.While popular actresses Kushubu, Harathi, Aathmika, and others also expressed their grief and questioned about her death. The sudden death of a strong person like VJ Chitra has raised controversy, while many doubts whether she attempted is suicide or it was a murder.
But still, there are no reports about the reason for her death, while police have registered a case and started their initial investigation. Chitra's mortal remains are currently at the Kilpauk Government Hospital for autopsy. Only if the post-mortem is completed will it be certain whether Chitra committed suicide or something else.
Chitra was engaged to a Chennai-based businessman Hemant last August, and the event took place with the presence of two families. Meanwhile, Chitra's closest friends say that she was confused about marriage.
