Superstar Rajinikanth recently made an unexpected stop at the Matheswaran Sivan temple in the Anaikatti hills near Coimbatore while he was en route for the shooting of his upcoming film, 'Jailer 2.' The legendary actor stepped out of his car to offer a quick darshan, which surprised many fans who had gathered nearby hoping to catch a glimpse of him.
On April 25, he traveled from Anaikatti to Mangarai, as the 74-year-old actor has been shooting for director Nelson Dilipkumar’s 'Jailer 2' along the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border, particularly in Kerala's Attappadi region, where he has been filming for the past 20 days. Before this schedule, he completed portions of the film in Chennai. Fans, aware of his daily travel routes, often gather along the roads to see the superstar.
Warm welcome at the temple

At the temple, Rajinikanth was warmly welcomed by the priest, who performed a brief puja and inquired about the actor's health. News of his arrival quickly spread, which led to a large number of devoted fans outside the temple.
