Priya Anand plays a village belle in her next

Actress Priya Anand has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Vemal in Kannan���s yet-to-be-titled film. The director tells us that unlike in her previous films, Priya will be seen playing a girl from a town in Madurai.
Kannan says, ���Priya has a very strong role in the film, and her character, Annapoorni, is very different from the roles she has done before in Kollywood.She will play an educated young woman from Madurai, someone who clearly knows what she wants from life.���
The film will go on floors from February in Thoothukudi. ���The first half will take place in a train. Imman will be scoring the music for the film, which will be produced by Micahel Rayappan,��� he informs.
