Nagendra Prasad joins Vijay's 'Thalapathy64'

Choreographer turned actor, Nagendra Prasad joins the enlarging cast of Thalapathy-64. Nagendra Prasad, brother of Prabhu Deva and Raja Sundaram is the recent addition to the star-studded cast of Thalapathy 64 directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor was last seen with Vijay in the blockbuster movie, Ghilli which was released in 2014. Now with a chance in Thalapathy-64, the actor is sharing screen space with Vijay after 15 years.
Nagendra Prasad was last seen in supporting role in GV Prakash Kumar’s 100 percent Kadhal.Currently, the shooting of the film is shot around Shivamogga prison in Karnataka. Till now the star cast of the film includes Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Gouri Kishan, Sriman, Sanjeev, Srinath, Premkumar and Chetan.
The film is said to be an action thriller with a college backdrop while it is widely speculated that Vijay is playing the role of a professor. The film is bankrolled by XB Film Creators while it has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to release in April next year.
