Sai Pallavi, who plays the lead along with Tollywood actor Naga Shourya.
Talking about his role in the movie, Balaji says, “I play the role of a cop. It was funny to watch myself in the trailer initially. But I am glad I did this movie because it was a very gratifying role. Karu is a very emotional film and my character becomes an integral part of Sai Pallavi’s life. The process of making the movie itself was very nice. I have a transformation and my character grows throughout the movie.”
Besides Karu, Balaji will be soon seen in director Kannan’s next with Atharvaa. “My role in that film, too, is very compelling and something I really like. I play a guy from the city who gives back to the village he comes from,” he says.
