Did Anand Shankar get a producer for his action-thriller with Vishal?

It seems finally there is light at the end of the tunnel for director Anand Shankar's action thriller. Though Vishal is said to have liked the script, the director was finding it tough to get a producer since the movie is a big-budget one. Now, if reports have to be believed, he has roped in producer Vinod Kumar of Wunderbar films, who is also an independent producer, to bankroll the movie.
The film will be shot in Malaysia and Arya is expected to play the antagonist.Anand Shankar who had earlier directed movies like Irumugan, NOTA and Arima Nambi is said to be planning to start the untitled movie soon after the lockdown is lifted.
In the meantime, Vishal’s Chakra is nearing completion and he has Thupparivaalan 2 to finish. Due to the differences between its original director Mysskin and him, Vishal has now decided to direct the movie.
