Dhruv Vikram wraps up ‘Varma’

Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv is making his acting debut with the upcoming romantic-drama ‘Varma’, a remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’. As per the latest buzz, the makers have reportedly wrapped up the shooting of the film.
Being directed by ace filmmaker Bala, reports suggest that ‘Varma’ is expected to release sometime later this year. A picture of Bala along with the crew did the rounds online.In the Tamil version, Dhruv will reprise the role played by Vijay Deverakonda. Bengal-based model Megha has been finalised to play the leading lady.
Produced by E 4 Entertainment, ‘Varma’ will have dialogues by the National Award-winning director Raju Murugan. Reports also suggest that the makers have planned for an audio launch in Vellore on September 22. However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same.
‘Arjun Reddy’ tells the story of a medical surgeon Arjun Reddy (Vijay Deverakonda), who falls for his college junior Preethi (Shalini). Arjun becomes alcoholic post break-up and the rest of the story is about how he redeems himself.
