coronavirus, actor
Ashwin Kakumanu has revealed that he had tested COVID positive last month.
While most of the celebrities have been open about revealing that they have tested positive so that the general public understand the gravity of the situation, actor Ashwin Kakumanu seemed to have been quiet about him being affected. But now, the young actor has revealed he had tested postive last month and has also recovered. A video of a nurse blasting the public for criticizing doctors & nurses and also not following the guidelines seems to have prompted Ashwin to open out.
Sharing the video of a nurse, Ashwin Kakumanu posted, This is as good a time to share that I was covid positive last month and had to be in a covid ward for few days. The spirit & kindness of the doctors, nurses, attenders & ambulance drivers is to be appreciated. Please listen, think & share." (sic)
"What she says is very true, some of them have to wear full PPE's and some of them just a surgical mask. I can't imagine the fear about contracting the disease and passing it onto their loved ones or staying in a center and not being able to see their loved ones for a long time. When I was getting discharged saw people outside the hospital arguing with staff that their homemade special coffee & food had not reached their family who was in the ward. This is a sector that is severely overworked & traumatised over the last year. Let's think about that," added Ashwin.
