Young filmmaker
Anand Shankar was one of the hottest bachelors in the industry, and he is now all set to tie the knot soon. The director, who made his debut with Vikram Prabhu’s Arima Nambi, will get married to his lady love Divyanka Jeevanantham on July 11 in Chennai.
Interestingly, their engagement happened in a yacht in Dubai, and he himself had announced the same on his Twitter page then.
He had tweeted, “My first ever post about my private life. Usually, I am too closed.. too private- and shy 😄. Although at this moment, I really felt like sharing my happiness with all. Need all your blessings. Always.”
He used to work with veteran AR Murugadoss and became much popular with Vikram’s Iru Mugan which had Nayanthara and Nithya Menen playing female leads. His last flick was Vijay Deverakonda’s political thriller NOTA, which was a bilingual for both the actor and the director.
Anand started his career by assisting Bollywood filmmaker Siddhaarth Anand in Anjaana Anjaani, after which he joined Murugadoss in 7am Arivu and Thuppakki.
