Star cast of 'Kirpaan - The Sword of Honor' visits Amritsar

The star cast of Punjabi film Kirpaan - The Sword of Honor, slated to hit theaters on February 7th , visited Amritsar on Tuesday on its promotional tour.
An ensemble of love, romance, patriotism and family values, Kirpaan - The Sword of Honor's protagonist Beeru is a young man that every youngster will co-relate to. "Beeru's role is very close to my heart.It is a reflection of the personality metamorphosis a young man undergoes in compelling circumstances," said actor Roshan Prince who was flanked by actresses Gurleen Chopra, Sameksha Singh and Parmeesh Verma.
Producer Rajinder Pal Singh Banwait added that in the times when Punjabi cinema industry rides high on wave of comedy masala and multi starrer films, Kirpaan - The Sword of Honor comes in a different shade and perspective. He said that in recent spate of Punjabi box office dudes, Kirpaan - The Sword of Honor will come as a film that guides youngsters and is high on entertainment quotient.
A production of Rabab Records Private Limited, Kirpaan - The Sword of Honor's star cast also includes Shivendra Mahal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sunita Dheer, Hari Joshi and Jeetendra Bharadwaj. The movie's music was recently released on Shemaroo Music label.
The movie's story revolves around a youngster named Beeru (Roshan Prince) from small town who is a spoilt brat studying in a college and is always in limelight for the wrong reasons. He is caught cheating examinations and is suspended from college for three years. He goes to foreign to earn living. Turn of events lead to such a situation when every youngster is compelled to think about own land, own culture and own family values. The story passes through different paradigms and spectrum.
