Malayalam cinema takes the Marathi route?

Sonalee-Sachin Khedekar starrer film 'Shutter' is touted to be the first Marathi remake of a Malayalam film.
Directed by actor-ad maker and national award winning director VK Prakash who has churned out Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Hinglish films, 'Shutter' is an intense thriller with a social message. The film portrays unexpected incidents happening in 24 hours with four people.
The original south film was the debut directorial venture of actor-writer Joy Mathew which was a commercial success and has bagged several awards.
The Marathi version will see actors Amey Wagh, Prakash Bare, Jaywant Wadkar, Radhika Harshe, Kaumudi Walokar and Kamlesh Sawant essaying important roles apart from the lead couple Sonalee and Sachin Khedekar.
