'Shivarayancha Chhava': Digpal Lanjekar wraps up shooting of his upcoming historical epic; team celebrates with cake cutting on set

Director Digpal Lanjekar's upcoming historical epic 'Shivarayancha Chhava' based on the valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has been trending ever since the time it was announced.

After shooting for weeks, the makers wrapped up the shoot. Digpal shared a video from the team's wrap party where filmmaker Digpal cut a massive cake on the sets of the film.

Sharing the video, Digpal wrote, "Based on the gallantry and the valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Malhar Pictures' first Marathi feature film, 'Shivarayancha Chhava' directed by Digpal Lanjekar wrapped up today. We are sure that this film will surely inspire everyone. Jai Shivarai ! Jai Shambhuraje"

Talking about the film, Chhattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, also referred to as Shambhuraje was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, ruling from 1681 to 1689. He was the eldest son of Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire.
